Golf/Turf/Light Industrial Equipment Sales Representative
Rollins Machinery, a lower mainland-based equipment distributor, is growing in a big way and we are currently looking for a motivated, experienced individual to fill a Golf/Turf/Light Industrial Equipment Sales Representative position based out of our new Alberta facility (within the Red Deer or Calgary vicinity, exact location TBD). This role will require the right candidate to take ownership of sales in Alberta and Saskatchewan, and have an aggressive approach to growing the business.
SALARY
- Estimated $100,000 – $130,000 annually (combining salary and commissions), based on experience, skills and qualifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sales of equipment within our newly acquired territories, Alberta and Saskatchewan, meeting and exceeding sales revenue objectives.
- Specific equipment focus will be: golf & turf, snow & ice removal, mowing and roadside maintenance.
- Conduct in-person visits to businesses (such as municipalities, airports, golf courses, and highways) to identify potential opportunities and build rapport with customers.
- Develop well-structured written proposals, meticulously following up on each lead.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Valid driver’s licence with clean abstract (to be provided upon employment).
- Understanding of the equipment sector that Rollins represents is considered an asset (golf & turf, snow & ice removal, mowing, roadside maintenance).

Class 1 Truck Driver & Mechanic
Rollins Machinery, a lower mainland-based equipment distributor, is currently seeking a customer service oriented, responsible and flexible individual to fill the position of Class 1 Truck Driver & Heavy-Duty Mechanic/Service Technician, operating out of our 4 facilities (Langley, Chilliwack, Chemainus, and Kelowna). This unique opportunity requires an individual with proven Truck Driver experience, the ability to operate different kinds of farm & industrial equipment for loading/unloading (ie: tractors, pavers, skid steers, street sweepers, mini-excavators, and more), while also working as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic/Service Technician between deliveries.
This isn’t your typical Truck Driver position! Read below for further details.
SALARY
- $32 – $37 per hour, based on experience, skills and qualifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate truck in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while ensuring the safe transportation of equipment (as listed above, along with other lines Rollins represents).
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries as required by company policy.
- Manage delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while on the road and at loading/unloading sites.
- Assist with basic repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability, as well as possible minor repairs & troubleshooting for transported equipment (tractors, pavers, skid steers, street sweepers, mini-excavators, and more).
- Confident driver in all weather conditions.
- Specialized training will be provided as available.
- This position is primarily for day trip transportation, however interprovincial travel may be required occasionally.
- Opportunity to train on equipment operation and become a leader for future training of personnel.
- Work out of our 4 facilities as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic/Service Technician between deliveries.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class 1 driver’s licence with clean driver’s abstract (copy required for employment).
- Proven Heavy-Duty Mechanic/Service Technician work experience and qualifications required, with a minimum Certification of Level 2 Apprentice preferred.
- Knowledge of farm, mowing, and paving equipment is considered an asset, as you may be required to tend to minor fixes on the road.
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems is an asset.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
