Sales Manager
Langley

Rollins Machinery, a BC lower mainland-based equipment company is currently looking for an energetic and motivated individual to fill the position of Sales Manager based out of our Langley Head Office. This role will require the right candidate to take on full leadership of the sales team and have an aggressive approach to growing the business. Rollins is willing to provide the required product training to the successful applicant.

Responsibilities

  • Grow top-line revenue with existing and new customers
  • Foster customer-centric relationships and track progress as customers move through the sales pipeline
  • Maintain and enhance relationships and convey the Company’s value/offerings
  • Develop and maintain a competitive assessment and strategic positioning plan
  • Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
  • Guide, coach, and support the Sales department
  • Ensure that the sales territory meets or exceeds volume/revenue/contribution objectives
  • Develop sales strategies to increase business

Required Education, Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of previous sales experience is preferred
  • An understanding of the equipment sector that Rollins represents is considered an asset
  • A compelling & tactful negotiator with the ability to create mutual wins
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to persuade and lead
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) as well as familiarity with general CRM software. Experience with ZOHO CRM is a bonus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • A current driver’s license is required

Rollins Machinery, a lower mainland-based equipment distributor is growing and we are currently looking for a motivated individual to fill the position of Assistant Service Manager based out of our Langley Head Office.

Responsibilities

· In collaboration with the Service Manager, oversee and create goals/objectives for the Service Department in relation to staffing, operating budgets and customer satisfaction

· Manage the day-to-day workflow and customer care of the Service department

· Completing and processing warranty documentation with multiple manufacturers in a timely fashion

· Communicating directly with customers

· Producing estimates as required

· Completing month-end procedures for the Service shop

· Manage Service Writer tasks as assigned for completion of Service work orders & invoicing

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

· The ideal candidate has 2 years of similar experience in a Service shop managing people & paperwork

· Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems would be an asset

· A knowledge of refuse truck bodies, farm equipment and mowing equipment is considered a definite asset but not a requirement

· This position would also suit an experienced mechanic looking to take the next step in their career

· Strong computer skills with Outlook, Word & Excel. Knowledge of DIS Quantum is an asset

· Must have a valid driver’s license

Rollins Machinery, a lower mainland-based equipment company, is currently looking for a motivated individual to fill the position of Service Writer – based out of our Head Office in Langley BC.

Job Summary

Rollins is currently looking for a Service Writer to assist with an active service shop consisting of Heavy-Duty mechanics. Working closely with the Service Manager, the Service Writer will assist with the day-to-day Service Department operations;

· Coordinating the completion of service Work Orders through dispatch of service technicians

· Scheduling jobs and organizing technician’s workload

· Service job estimate building and invoicing

· Complete warranty documentation and submission in an accurate and timely manner, following up on payments.

· Reconcile all warranty AR

· Follow dispute/challenge process for short paid warranty (solicit support from Service Supervisor & Manager)

· Ensure monthly invoices are closed

· Other duties as assigned

· Positive and professional communication with customers and team members

· Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude, with good interpersonal skills

· Excellent general computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Rollins Machinery, a lower mainland-based equipment distributor is growing and we are currently looking for a motivated individual to fill the position of Heavy-Duty Service Technician/Mechanic based out of Langley (Head Office), Kelowna, or Chilliwack.

Note: New Tech’s joining us have the option to work a 4 X 10 or the traditional 5 X 8. Please talk to us about your preference during the interview process.

Job Type / Category

Requirements include pre-delivery work, new installations, diagnose, disassemble, correct malfunctions and do repairs of all municipal refuse truck bodies, agricultural equipment and mowing equipment and various other lines that Rollins Machinery represents. You will also be required to completely document details on work orders and complete tasks in a timely manner. Specialized training will be provided over time as available.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for, but are not limited to, an individual with a ticket in heavy-duty mechanics. We welcome those with relevant experience to apply…

· The ideal candidate will be an experienced mechanic with current/previous formal training either enrolled in an Apprentice program, or who is a certified Journeyman in the Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade

· Ability to preform basic repairs and maintenance using specialized tools and equipment

· A knowledge of refuse truck bodies, farm equipment and mowing equipment is considered an asset

· Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems would be an asset

· Must be capable of meeting the physical demands (ability to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly) of the mechanic trade, committed to customer service, service excellence, and achievement, and have the ability to communicate (oral & written) and work effectively with customers, the service team and other branch personnel

· Having own tools is an asset

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· Must have a positive work ethic

Job Description

· Reports directly to the Branch Manager in the Kelowna branch

· Develops, communicates, and monitors effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction

· Promotes and merchandises parts and accessories in conjunction with other store locations

· Monitors annual Parts Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives

· Maintains an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes annual physical inventory cycle counts and proper counter procedures

· Maximizes use of special terms and stock orders to achieve management stock order goals

· Identify deficiencies within the parts department and make recommendations on corrective action to the Branch Manager and implement action plans as directed

· Maintain staff schedules to ensure that the Department is adequately staffed

· Any other responsibilities as designated by the Kelowna Branch Manager

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

· Minimum of 2 years Parts Management experience (or Assistant Parts Manager)

· Position requires working the counter, answering phones, and assisting mechanics

· Proven track record of success

· Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations

· Fixed knowledge in overall operations, management, and retail area

· Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports

· Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft 365 Office and internet functions

· Excellent customer service skills, both in-person and over the phone

· High School Diploma and relative experience required

· Valid BC Driver’s License, with a clean driver’s abstract
